Carmen's Famous Dominican Sancocho

Sancocho is being served at The Jolly Roger on Sunday 13 May to raise money for Sosua Kids.  It will be available from 5.30 pm following the Sunday afternoon Bingo  session.  Tickets cost 200 pesos and can be obtained in advance from The Jolly Roger Bar. 

Sancocho has been described as "without doubt, Dominican's most cherished culinary treasure....usually prepared for special occasions".  Carmen's version is famous among those in Sosua who have already been lucky enough to taste it.  Come and try it - and Enjoy!

The well-established popular weekly Tuesday afternoon Bingo sessions at The Jolly Roger Bar continue, and Sosua Kids is one of the benefitting local charities.  Again please attend, enjoy and help benefit local charities.

Sosua Kids benefits every third week from the weekly Pub Trivia Quiz held on Thursdays from 2.00pm at The Britannia Pub, Calle Pedro Clisante, Sosua (other local charities benefit from the quizes in the intervening weeks.
