Sosua Kids welcomes donations of money and school supplies, however large or small. Donations can be made in a number of ways, to suit your circumstances.
If you are in Sosúa
-
Cash can be left in jars at various locations, including the following:
The Britannia Bar
The Checkpoint Bar
The Hideaway
Jolly Rogers
Pedro McMurphy’s Irish Bar
If you prefer, hand your donation direct to the bar owner and it will be passed on to us.
Other donations such as school equipment for childrens' backpacks (pens, pencils, exercise books etc.) can also be left at these locations.
-
Donations of all types can also be handed to Linda Kramer at the Beachway Plaza office of Mel Tours (just opposite the Checkpoint Bar). Linda will provide you with a receipt if you want one.
-
Or you can place a donation in the charity jar at DR Uncovered (#27 Pedro Clisante, opposite The Britannia Bar). Your donation will be divided equally between Sosua Kids and a local animal charity.
-
If you prefer to make you donation - of either money or school supplies - directly to us, please contact one of our local representatives:

You might want to consider bringing your donation with you on your next visit.
-
Alternatively, please make cheques payable to Sosua Kids and send them to:
Janet Williams
c/o Coconut PalmsEPS –D 209. P.O.Box 025648
Miami Florida 33102 Note: We then pay the courier costs from Miami to Sosua. We are normally able to accept cheques written in most major currencies and get them exchanged in Sosúa.-
If you are planning a trip to Sosúa and have space in your baggage allowance, why not use it to bring some school materials with you?

The Paypal “Donate” link on this website offers a convenient way of making modest or infrequent money donations. You do not have to leave your own home or pay any fee in order to make your donation. However, we do have to pay a percentage fee based on the amount of the donation. For this reason we do not normally recommend this method for large donations.
-
We hope soon to be able to make available our bank details for those who wish to make a donation by electronic transfer. However, this method of payment normally involves costs to both the donor and the recipient.
Whatever and however you choose to donate, THANKYOU!
